Accountability
Where does your donation go?
God provides for the ministry of St. Francis of Assisi through your tithes and offerings. We honour your gifts with faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and full accountability so that the financial integrity of St. Francis of Assisi remains beyond reproach.
Financial Committee
St. Francis of Assisi has a Finance Committee which has an advisory and consultative role with the Pastor in ensuring the parish goods are administered in accordance with the norms of both Civil and Canon Law.
The financial matters of the parish include revenue, expenses, investments, bookkeeping, salaries, construction contracts, sales, purchases, personnel matters and the maintenance of the parish property and buildings. The committee oversees the parish books and records, prepares annual income tax returns, and financial statements in accordance with the diocesan requirements.
